Texas Pecan Lumber

Berdoll Sawmill’s Texas Pecan lumber is milled from salvaged logs sourced from within a 100-mile radius of Austin, Texas. Our logs are milled into lumber on site with our two bandsaw sawmills.

Pecan wood is very dense and durable, making it an ideal choice for furniture. Because we are a small, specialty mill we hand select logs with mostly heartwood and are able to allow our Pecan logs to develop spalting. The typical thickness of our lumber is 4/4 and 8/4, both thicknesses are available with natural edges. Additionally, Berdoll Sawmill ensures that all boards from the same log are kept together throughout production, allowing us to offer you complete flitches and book matches.
