About Us

Berdoll Sawmill was established in 2009 by Brandon and Brandi Berdoll. Our business is built on Christian values that guides our daily decisions. We take pride in producing the highest quality, kiln dried live edge slabs and furniture-grade lumber available. We are unique in that we have complete on-site control over every step of production.

Our logs are sustainably sourced within a 100-mile radius of our sawmill. We focus on providing slabs, lumber, and mantels in native Texas species such as Pecan, Mesquite, Black Walnut, Longleaf Pine, and others. All of our wood is carefully kiln dried in our onsite, computer-controlled kilns. Live edge slabs are first surfaced flat, then planed to a consistent thickness ready for hand sanding and finishing. We are often told by experienced wood workers that they have never worked with wood that performs so well. We love to hear these comments and will continue to produce products that live up to this expectation.

We have a fully equipped woodshop with large industrial woodworking machinery to provide such services as flattening and planing, wide belt sanding, resawing, straight line ripping, and S4S. These machines are highly tuned and well maintained, and combined with a skilled operator, allow us to produce extremely high-quality products and services.

We keep our sawmills, kilns, and planer running to ensure an extensive selection of material for our customers. Our inventory is displayed in a 4,500 square foot, humidity-controlled showroom located just east of Austin. In the past 15 years we have put together a facility, equipment, processes, and most importantly a team of hardworking, talented, and knowledgeable staff who are ready to assist you with your projects.  Whether you need 1 board or 10,000 board feet, we look forward to working with you.
