- Additional Information: No. 2 Common Mesquite Lumber has the most cracks and character of the Mesquite lumber we offer. To obtain a grade of No. 2 Common, the board must be more than 50% clear on both faces. The cracks in No. 2 Common Mesquite lumber typically require a significant amount of epoxy fill. We remove all sapwood from our Texas Mesquite lumber except for small amounts that will be removed with normal jointing and planing.
