The Governors Table

This was our 2014 entry for the Texas Furniture Maker’s Show in Kerrville, Texas. The top of this coffee table comes from a 185 year old Pecan tree that sprouted along the San Gabriel River.

The Brazos Beauty

This Texas Pecan single-slab top and trestle base table, named “The Brazos Beauty”, was entered in the Texas Furniture Maker’s Show in Kerrville, Texas where it won 3rd place and the People’s Choice Award.

Mesquite Coffee Table

Craftsman: Berdoll Sawmill

We really enjoyed building this Mesquite coffee table. It is a book-matched pair and we took advantage of the large cracks by hand sculpting them. It has an industrial crank base that raises and lowers.

The Texas Twins

In the fall of 2010, high winds swept through San Felipe, Texas and took with it a large piece of our Texas history. The photos display two sections of the second largest Pecan tree ever recorded in the state of Texas by the Texas Forest Service.
