Brandon’s interest in woodworking was sparked in a unique way. After graduating high school, Brandon’s supervisor and now good friend, Kevin, was in the process of building his home. It was intriguing to Brandon to see Kevin turn rough lumber into his home’s necessities, such as crown molding and interior doors, with traditional woodworking tools. One day, Kevin explained to Brandon that if he wanted top quality lumber with matching grain and color, he would have to own his own sawmill and dry his own lumber. This conversation sparked Brandon’s interest in owning his own sawmill and wood shop.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science, Brandon and Brandi began milling large Texas Pecan trees into slabs in 2008. Since then, kilns, sawmills, equipment, large buildings and full-time employees have been added to the growing business. Brandon takes great pride in producing high-quality live edge slabs and hardwood lumber. He looks forward to doing so for many years to come.
